About Us

Empowerment. Compassion. Self-Affirmation.

Started in 2016, HomeWorks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to enrich the public education experience and foster a community of empowered young women who strive to achieve their full potential and positively impact the world around them.
Our vision is to expand and replicate our after-school boarding model that promotes female empowerment and community leaders by partnering with urban schools nationally and globally.
Your community is our community.
Welcome to our HomeWorks Family! Here at HomeWorks, we want scholars to have access to resources that will enable them succeed. Not only do we accomplish this through 1:1 support, organized extra-curricular activities, and a safe space, but also through strong partnerships with scholars, their families and the local community.
Despite any situation, we know our scholars can achieve anything they set their mind to, and we want to partner with them every step of the way.

Our Achievements:

Princeton A James Fisher Jr Prize (2017)

Princeton Social Impact Competition Runner-Up (2017)

Princeton Art Lane ’34 Award (2018

Undergraduate Women's Impact Award (2017)

Princeton ReachOut 56-81-06 Domestic Fellowship (2018)
