Activities/Hobbies to Explore

This program will take place from July 15th through August 2nd, with sessions running Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm each day. All sessions will take place at the Princeton University Campus, with the Princeton Art Museum located at Elm Dr, Princeton, NJ 08544. This program is completely free to apply to, as well as free to attend. Students who are selected to attend will be provided with transportation from Trenton Central High School and Ewing High School at no additional cost.

Applications can be accessed here: Apply. All applications are due by 11:59pm on March 24th, 2024. If chosen to move on to the next round, interviews will take place at the Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrence Twp on April 10, 16, and 17, 2024. Students selected for an interview will be notified by April 3, 2024.

We want women and girls, to know the importance of rest. At this nap circle, the girls will participate in activities that promote rest, self-care, learn self-calming practices, and ways to implement them into their daily lives.

When: Saturday, March 23rd from 10am to 1pm.

Girls In Aviation Day  2024 on Saturday, March 16th (rain date April 6).  Girls In Aviation Day will take place at Northeast Philadelphia Airport. Girls in Aviation Day seeks to inspire girls towards the wide variety of amazing careers involving STEAM and aviation. 

An opportunity for girls and femmes of color artists (ages 12-16) in the New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut to participate in a unique opportunity in which they receive mentorship, display their art in an NYC gallery, and participate in workshops this coming spring/summer. This opportunity is part of a larger project called the Simmering Spices Collective, directed by Dr. Grace Player (professor at UConn), with me as a curatorial consultant.
