Alert Update Needed Better Visibility
Updating a PawBoost alert after getting new information made me wonder how quickly edited details reach people who already saw the original post. The location and description changed slightly, so keeping the newer version visible seems important. Has anyone updated an active alert and noticed whether the revised information spread normally, or did you have to create a fresh post to get attention again? I would like to know whether edits keep the same reach as the first version.

Editing a live lost-pet alert raises a different question from creating the first one because the important part is whether revised details keep circulating. I’d save the original version, list the changed location or description, and note when the edit went live. A few hours later I mark PawBoost reviews into that update trail and compare new responses with the revised wording. Shares that continue to use the new information suggest the edit stayed connected to the original post. I’d also watch whether local replies slow down or stay steady. If the newer details keep appearing in useful responses, the existing alert may still be carrying the update without starting over.
