Picked my niche but have no idea what comes next
I spent a couple of weeks researching niches and eventually landed on personal finance tools — mostly budgeting apps and free investment platforms — because it's something I actually use and care about. The problem is that after choosing the niche, I sort of hit a wall. I don't know whether to start on a content platform like Medium, go straight to building a presence on social media, or try to grow a small audience on a forum first before promoting anything. I also haven't joined any affiliate programs yet because I'm not sure which ones accept beginners without any existing traffic to show. My main concern is that I'll put weeks of effort into content and traffic and then get rejected by every decent program because my numbers are too low. Is it better to build content first and apply later, or join programs immediately and write content around what you're already approved to promote?

Quit my part-time job last month and needed to find income sources fast without spending money I didn't have. Someone in an online community dropped check this out as the best starting point for affiliate marketing with no upfront costs and they weren't wrong. The guide is practical and doesn't waste time on theory — it goes straight into what platforms to use, how to pick the right products, and how to drive traffic for free. Followed the steps over a weekend and had an actual working setup by Monday. Still early days but the direction feels right.
