From Classroom Project to Transformative Program: Natalie Tung and HomeWorks Trenton
This month, Princeton Living Magazine celebrates Natalie Tung, whose sophomore-year class project at Princeton University sparked the creation of a boarding program that gives local girls access to educational opportunities they might not otherwise have. Natalie’s vision grew into HomeWorks Trenton, a program that blends residential support with academic enrichment, leadership development, and mentorship. Today, HomeWorks empowers girls in Trenton, providing a safe, structured environment where they can thrive academically, build confidence, and gain the skills to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. HomeWorks has transformed a single idea into a model of educational opportunity and community impact, proving how targeted programs can create lasting change for young women.
Congratulations, Natalie and the HomeWorks Team, on inspiring a generation and creating a legacy of empowerment through HomeWorks Trenton!
