Redd Pen Media & HomeWorks Trenton: Thalia's Story

In partnership with Redd Pen Media, we were able to highlight one of our scholars' journey.

"Thalia's Story" is a mini-documentary produced by Redd Pen Media in collaboration with HomeWorks Trenton, celebrating scholar Thalia. A talented young photographer, Thalia first caught the attention of Redd Pen Media Founder and Producer Juan Ortiz during a filmmaking workshop that HomeWorks scholars attended in 2021. A Trenton High School alum himself, Ortiz was captivated by her enthusiasm for filmmaking and her story. Inspired by her passion for photography and her journey to build confidence, the video shares her experiences at HomeWorks and her dreams for the future.
