Merger left us with chaos

Two hospitals merged this year, and now we have two domains, duplicate content, and patients calling the wrong number. I've been told SEO is the fix, but I don't know where to begin. Who has a proven medical marketing SEO strategy for hospitals after a merger?

When our healthcare group merged, we faced a similar mess with two websites, outdated contact details, and patients finding the wrong location online. We started by mapping the existing pages and deciding what should stay, redirect, or disappear. I also found this medical SEO guide, medical marketing SEO for patient acquisition , useful for understanding how to approach content and local search. The biggest help was making the new site structure simple and consistent before trying to improve rankings.
