The Cook Center: Over 50+ free parenting courses for parents


The Cook Center is a nonprofit foundation created to bring the best programs, partnerships and events to districts and communities to help eradicate teen suicide and strengthen family mental health.  


Here is a summary of the supportive services, of which most are free.  School districts can share with parents. Many put a link on their websites for parents and families.  


Over 50+ parenting courses for parents, including self help courses ParentGuidance.org    Free anonymous and in your home, ParentGuidance.org includes "Ask a Therapist" which provides answers to the tough questions our parents and students are facing today.


The Cook Center for Human Connection provides free Virtual Mental Health Nights for parents featuring our clinical director, Dr Kevin Skinner.  See video here: click here  


ParentGuidance Mental Health Series:  ongoing interactive and anonymous events for parents on topics chosen by the district.


Unlimited Family Coaching sponsored by the district which provides 24-7 coaching for parents with a 24 hr response time and a 30 minute facetime a week with a coach.  


Staff Development on varied mental health topics and the prevention of teen suicide.  QPR training included.
